With a form and tone well suited for event video shoots, indie film production, TV and documentary shooting, court room depositions, and more, the Sony ECM-674 shotgun microphone offers strong, clean output signal for recording with camcorders, multitrack field recorders, and portable audio recorders.
The ECM-674 features a supercardioid polar pattern for excellent directivity and minimal noise at the off-axis sections of the capsule, resulting in intelligible voice pickup even in noisy environments. The microphone's wide, flat frequency response yields smooth, accurate signal reproduction with crisp detail and minimal coloration.
The ECM-674 can be powered with a single AA battery (available separately) or 40 to 52 VDC phantom power, making it compatible with a variety of consumer and professional devices. It includes microphone spacers and a mic holder to accommodate camera-mount and stand-mount configurations.
