The EPB-4000 8-Input 4K Mobile Studio with Built-In 17.3" LCD Monitor from Datavideo is an 8-channel portable switcher with UHD 4K and HD support, 12 digital inputs including eight SDI and four HDMI with embedded audio (8 active), and four 12G-SDI plus two HDMI outputs for the program (PGM) feed and one for multi-view. The switcher also features four XLR inputs and two outputs, RS-232 serial control, GPI output, tally output, and a LAN port.

A 5" touchscreen display on the controller board provides touch buttons that allow you to control presets and effects. The plug-and-play mobile studio controls and effects include transitions, chroma/luma keying, DSK, PiP, a wipe generator, still stores, logo insertion, built-in and downloadable virtual sets, and a built-in title overlay system.

The HS-4000 accepts video inputs from various sources, including computers, multimedia players with HDMI 2.0 output, and 12G-SDI cameras. Upon connection, the 10-bit broadcast-quality video is displayed instantaneously at no expense of resolution, speed, and frame rate.This versatility allows for seamless integration of different devices and sources into the production workflow. The HS-4000 has 12 video inputs (8 are selectable for flexibility), plus a variety of video and audio inputs and outputs including 7 outs with AUX assignment.

True 12G 4K 50/60 Video Production Switcher

Inputs and outputs on the HS-4000 support UHD 4K60/50 signals. It also has built-in input scaling, for up-conversion on each available input.

12-Channel Application Built upon an 8 Video Switching Design

Switching between 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 on four shared channels is responsive and seamless. By upgrading from 8 channels to a 12-channel machine, it adds greater versatility to your hardware connections and more possibilities to live program production.

Plug-and-Play

There is no need to install the driver to connect with the laptop. The images and videos can be directly input to the switcher through the HDMI interface of the laptop.

Integrated 4K UHD Monitor

Equipped with a high-quality 17.3-inch 4K UHD monitor, the mobile studio provides a multi-view display that allows producers and operators to monitor multiple video sources simultaneously, ensuring smooth production execution. The 4K monitor has four times the resolution of a Full HD monitor, resulting in much sharper and more detailed images.The increased pixel density of a 4K monitor yields smaller individual pixels, resulting in sharper text, images, and graphics. The higher resolution improves productivity, as you can have multiple windows open side by side without sacrificing legibility or clarity.

Varieties of 3D PIP Configurations

The two built-in PIP windows can be overlaid on one another. In addition to the default corner places, you can further change the window's size, position, and display ratio. You can also crop the window to make it square. By adding a shaded border, you will then be able to fully generate an advanced 3D PIP window with a self-defined border color.

WIPE Transition Effects

There is a total of 64 wipe transition effects designed for different TV programs. The WIPE transition is a very crucial element in program production. The HS-4000 provides 64 eye-catching WIPE effects with configurable border color and width. The border can be further softened to make the WIPE effect unique.

Still Image Thumbnails

Save up to 250 4K still images such as sequential program images, images of various scenarios, full size logos, school or faculty badges, and more. You can also capture important moments of your program and save these images for post-edits.

Lumakey, Chromakey, Linear Key, and Downstream Key

The HS-4000 comes with a built-in web-ready recorder. Simply insert your SD card, and you'll have video files that can be immediately uploaded to the video network of your choice or to your website.

Professional Audio-to-Video Synchronization

There are times when video and audio become out of sync during video production or live video streaming. Most users would feel annoyed when such an issue arises. Videos are usually processed at 25 or 50 frames per second and the audio is delivered in milliseconds.Due to different processing times and network latencies, you will thus receive out-of-sync video and audio. The HS-4000's professional built-in audio delayer is designed to ensure precise audio-to-video synchronization by delaying and calibrating the audio received.

Virtual Sets

In addition to user saved still images, the HS-4000 also provides up to 10 sets and 40 high-quality 4K virtual sets for left, front, right, and long shot auxiliary cameras. They are designed for video conferences and interview programs.

Chroma Key

The HS-4000 supports up to four channels of switchable chromakey with unique "key tie" functionality. Create a complete 4-channel virtual studio and enjoy automatic chromakey functions.

Fully Customizable

Save camera and keyer settings in user memory presets (up to 125 available). Choose from 380 icons to better identify settings saved in user memory slots.

SRT Streaming Protocol

Streaming RTMP over unreliable, low-bandwidth networks can cause issues. With dvCloud, you can now replace the RTMP protocol with SRT, which will fix most streaming issues you may have. SRT is better than RTMP because it handles problematic networks more efficiently.

Smart PTZ Speed Adaptation

The integrated PID algorithm is able to detect the movement speed of the identified object and automatically adjust the camera's corresponding pan, tilt, and zoom speeds in such a way that the lens movement will be smooth, avoiding common camera lens movement problems like jerky movements or unpredicted halts.

The app can control up to four cameras simultaneously via DVIP; you can intuitively set up and recall the presets, and adjust white balance, focus, and iris.

Datavideo Universal Remote Control Panel for Datavideo PTZ & Block Cameras

Well suited for EFP as well as house of worship, education, and corporate productions, the Datavideo Universal Remote Control Panel for PTZ and block cameras is a lightweight, portable control panel that is big on features. The back panel features 8 x RJ45 connectors that support RS-422 to control your compatible PTZ cameras (up to 8); an additional RJ45 connector supports DVIP protocol and allows you to control up to 24 cameras/devices (optional network router required). A D-sub 15-pin female connector outputs tally signals to connected cameras—red indicates On-air and Green indicates next camera source. A USB 2.0 port for firmware upgrades as well as a power switch and power connector complement the controler's back panel.

The RMC-300A features an integrated 5" touchscreen for setup, control, and data input using a keyboard mode. The panel also features a transition scroll wheel and push buttons for dedicated functions such as shutter, iris, focus, and gain for camera control as well as switcher functions such as cut and mix/wipe. Standard camera tools including a zoom knob and pan/tilt joystick are built into the panel. Supports PowerPoint and Keynote Slides

In addition to text-based scripts, you can now import your PowerPoint or Keynote presentation slides via the web interface; slides can be controlled using the hardware WR-500 control or the web-based remote control interface. dvPrompter Plus supports seamlessly switching between text-based scripts and slides, you can even add slides and text-based scripts to a playlist. dvPrompter Plus supports mirroring slides in real time, so your content is the right way around even when viewed via the mirror glass.

Optional Hardware Controllers
